“We have investigated and taken action manual to demote www.Google.com/krom and lower PageRank sites for at least 60 days.We strive to uphold the Google webmaster guidelines consistently to provide better search results to users.
While Google is validating this campaign, and we can find no violation that is left of our webmaster guidelines, we believe Google should be held to higher standards, so we’ve taken actions which are stricter than we would on a typical site.
Decline is a response to the campaign where the blogger found a low-quality content posts related to Google Chrome in an effort to promote a Google video about King Arthur Flour. At least one of the posts that have a hyperlink to the download page of Chrome, which can help increase Google site search results through Google’s PageRank algorithm. But paying people to include that link in violation of Google’s guidelines.
